Our Story
Nestled among rolling landscapes with stunning, uninterrupted mountain views, Hacienda Piedras Blancas has been the heart of our family for over 20 years. Recently passed down to our close-knit group of five cousins, the property became a shared passion project as we worked to elevate the space without losing its soul. Every corner of the redesign honors the generations before us, meticulously preserving the authentic architecture and rich cultural heritage. Today, we open our family estate to the world, offering a timeless, elegant canvas for your most meaningful celebrations.

What an amazing, beautiful, and peaceful place! There was so much attention to detail when decorating this hacienda that you will spend lots of time looking around discovering things that are so simple yet so classy, earthly, and and just beautiful. They also have beautiful antiques that brought me back in time to my childhood years. The views are breathtaking from every angle. The service was top notch and the hosts, Gloria and Luz, were super sweet, attentive and ready to go out of their way to make us feel super comfortable. I will definitely go back and spend more time with my friends and family there. I loved that they have many different ambients to enjoy so if you go with a big group you can all be having dinner in a huge dining room or branch out to many cool hanging out places they have. Perfect place for big events but also great even for a short get away from the noise of the city. You will not be disappointed! Oh, I almost forgot to mention they have the cutest mini house for kids! Complete with bunk beds, kitchenette, bathroom with skylight, tiny sink and toilet. Also a dining table outside and mini real plant hanging baskets all around! All made from real construction materials...just amazing!

On a girls trip, Our first time in Medellin Colombia and we chose to stay here for our first half and then headed to the city for the second half. It was a great decision!
This place is so well thought out and attention to detail was not spared. Most furniture pieces and decorative pieces are hand made . The only thing missing were horses but Ms Gloria arranged a horseback riding tour for us so we got to experience that too.. The view from the property is breathtakingly beautiful . The area is quiet and safe. Well it was quiet till we got there. We were the only ones staying there . There is a huge speaker that you can connect your phone to and have a party (if you wish ) and still not bother any neighbors. Words cannot describe how beautiful this place is.
The staff treat you like family. The primo was very attentive to our needs and Ms Gloria went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She even got us a driver to bring us into the town of Guarne. The little downtown area is the cutest with little shops and restaurants along the way and a church in the same plaza. We were even lucky enough to catch a farmers market when we went.
If you are looking for a private place to accommodate a group of people look no further . It’s high up in the mountains but right outside of Medellin and minutes from a beautiful park.
We will definitely be staying here again. I’m actually going back and getting married there (after I find a husband of course).
